No yeast? No problem! This classic quick bread is ridiculously simple to make and is incredibly delicious.
INGREDIENTS:
3 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
sea salt
1 (12 ounce) bottle of beer
1/4 cup honey
6 tablespoons cold salted butter cut in pieces
fresh chopped rosemary (optional)
METHOD:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Grease 9x5 loaf pan with butter.
Add the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt to a mixing bowl. Pour in the beer and add the honey. Mix until just combined. Spoon the thick batter into the loaf pan. Dot the top with butter pieces and chopped fresh herbs, if using.
Place the loaf pan on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until the top of the bread is lightly browned. Sliced and enjoy warm...with MORE butter. Because, why not?
